JM: How many different blocks were there?
Viktor: It's hard to say. When you first come in they
keep you isolated waiting on classification. The
jail in Gardner is confusing , I think
intentionally so. Olathe is set up with I think
2
pods on each floor.
Being farmed out to Osage and Chase Counties,
those jails are different too, but easier to
figure out where you are.
JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Viktor: I forget.
JM: Which inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Viktor: The women are housed in Olathe. Also maximum
security for the men.
JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Viktor: Some you are alone most of the day in a cell.
Others are open, and you can interact with the
other inmates all day, watch TV, play games,
read,
etc.
